Registration Process

• To register for the 16th annual ECSS congress Liverpool 2011 you will be asked to create your ECSS account first.
• Your registration will be completed with the payment of registration fee.
• The registration system will be open by December 15th, 2011
• Registration will only be possible via the Congress website.
• If you have problems with on-line registration please contact the secretariat by e-mail for instructions
• Final deadline for author’s registration is May 1st, 2011.

- submit your abstract (we accept only online abstract submissions!)
- pay your registration fee before the 1st of May 2011
- edit your personal details if needed
- check your registration status
- check your abstract acceptance status after 1st of April
- print your Invoice/Receipt/Letter of acceptance on the fly
Your registration will be  c o m p l e t e d  with the p a y m e n t   of registration fee.

Cancellation

• For written cancellations received before 31 May 2011 the cancellation fee is EUR 80. Thereafter no refund will be paid on the registration fees.

Registration for students

• Full time students:
  The student fee only applies to full time students, a copy of the student ID-card must be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Registration fee for participants includes:

• Admission to all scientific sessions
• Admission to exhibitions
• Congress material (bag, programme, book of abstracts etc)
• Coffee and lunches at the congress venue
• Welcoming reception
• Congress Banquet (limited number) To be held at the Anglican Cathedral

For accompanying persons:

• The accompanying person’s fee includes welcoming reception and closing banquet
• No admission to scientific programme

*Congress Registration fee includes 2011 ECSS membership fee

The ECSS membership is an annual membership valid for one calendar year. Your membership is not prolonged automatically but will be cancelled at the end of each calendar year if not indicated elsewise. Reminders including payment instructions will be sent to you towards the end of each calendar year to enable you to continue your membership and ensure the consecutive reception of your issues of the European Journal of Sport Science.
